Together with the Dutch Minister of Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, Lilianne Ploumen, Radio Dabanga will address the situation in Darfur and the accomplishments of Radio Dabanga over the last 5 years. Former spokesperson for UNAMID, Aicha Elbasri, will give a key-note address on the role of Radio Dabanga in Darfur. News presenter Twan Huys (Nieuwsuur), who will host the evening, will then chair a debate on the subject of local versus international journalism. This is a closed event.
