Back from his 2014 summer tour to Sudan, South Sudan, Rwanda and Ethiopia Prof. Kapila will discuss the human rights and humanitarian situation in Sudan. This latter has been under the public scrutiny of regional and international human rights mechanisms for over 20 years. Little, if anything has changed. It is time that a lasting solution is found for the country’s protracted crisis that continues to have such immense impact on its most marginalised and vulnerable citizens.
