Suffolk, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland - Lecture Room, St Edmundsbury Cathedral - Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk
Join Aegis Trust's Special Representative Dr. Mukesh Kapila speaking about his return to Rwanda, 18 years after he witnessed the immediate aftermath of the genocide. Reflecting on his recent trip and his extensive humanitarian career, Dr. Kapila will discuss peace-building in Rwanda, the important role individuals play in the prevention of mass atrocities, the need for greater genocide prevention efforts globally, and why we must draw on lessons of the past. This event is free to attend, and is organised jointly by St Edmundsbury Cathedral, The Anne Frank Trust UK, and the Aegis Trust
